Blue - Adopted!

Blue came to TOES as an owner turn in. His owner promised to come pick him up and never did. The shelter where Blue was kept was a high kill gassing shelter and through the cooperation of several dedicated volunteers, Blue was grabbed in the nick of time and went to his foster home where he was cleaned up, socialized and the rest is history. What a beautiful dog to have been almost lost.

In researching homes for Blue, a potential adoptive family contacted me who had just lost their wonderful OES, Millie, to bone cancer a week earlier. After spending time with Jennie and David and their children and seeing the scrapbook of pictures lovingly kept of past dogs, it was an easy decision for me to make to approve the home and Blue's new family.

Blue has settled in nicely in his new home and is a wonderful member of this great family! We hope to see him soon with playdates with some of the other local OE's!

Thanks to Judy and Ellen for coming to Blue's rescue and to Jennie and David for providing Blue with a wonderful, loving home.
