Milo - Adopted!

Milo came to our group as another owner turn in. His owner had never kept Milo in the house and swore that a dog that large didn't belong inside! Well, we'll see about that. Milo did a lot of traveling before winding up with his forever family...he was picked up by a wonderful volunteer at Bed and Biscuit in Black Mtn, NC and I traveled to the mountains to pick him up. That night we also stopped in Hickory to leave Milo with his foster mom, Tammy! While not riding really well, by the time the TOES annual picnic rolled around, he was savvy enough to make the trip and was one of the hits of the event! Everyone fell in love with Milo.

Thanks to some feedback from Ray and Betsy Williams, we were contacted by their friends, Janet and her husband, Ed regarding Milo. They'd lost their most recent OES and felt they were ready for another. With some great coordination, Tammy handed Milo off to Ray and Betsy who drove Milo along with their own Paddington to meet Milo's new family!

By all accounts, things are going very well. Milo is getting over the fear of being abandoned and is making his new home his own. Both owners are happy with him and he's much loved! We hope to see more pictures and hear of Milo's episodes in the future. Thanks Janet and Ed for giving this boy a great home and thanks so much to Tammy, Betsy and Ray for making this happen!
