Blue - Adopted!

Blue came to the rescue group as a direct result of the poor economy in NC. Blue's family home was foreclosed, both adults had lost their jobs and the family was having to move into a camper at a local campground. When I spoke with Blue's owner however, her main concern wasn't her home or job. It was her dogs and cat. Of course, we took Blue in and it was love at first sight. What a great dog.

After visiting our vet for vetting, Blue was more than ready to move to a new life. It didn't take but a day or so to finalize a new home, have a home visist done by our great volunteers in western NC and before you knew it, Blue's new family was headed to Winston-Salem to take him home.

Blue took to his new mom and dad and new rescue 'sister' immediately and they to him. It was a happy day when Blue left us to head back to the mountains and his new digs. Reports from Bob and Laura are most positive and they report that Blue is quite the energizer bunny! He's very much loved and a great addition to their family.

Thanks so much to Bob and Laura for giving Blue a great home and a loving family and Blue's new owner is very happy with the results as well, although missing him, of course.
