Poppy came to the group as turn-in due to some personal health issues by her owners. Everyone in the group that helped transport this girl, fell in love with her, including her foster mom, Susan.

A call from a friend affiliated with another rescue group suggested that there may be a perfect candidate for Poppy. Glenn had adopted Sabrina, a rescue OES a few years earlier and was looking for another. He quickly came under Poppy's spell and after a bit of logistical planning, a trip was planned for Glenn to bring Sabrina to meet Poppy with their getting along of the utmost importance.

On a beautiful NC weekend, we all got to meet Glenn, and he and Sabrina got to spend some time with Poppy. Need I say more? (And we're STILL trying to talk Glenn to moving to NC!)

All reports to date have been great. Poppy, who's now Katie, has become fast friends with Sabrina and apparently everyone else in town. We look forward to hearing more about the daring duo at a later date!
