Cutha - Adopted!

Cutha came to the group as an owner turn-in. Much loved by her original owner, Cutha became yet another victim of the economic woes of NC when the decision was made that she could be taken care of more successfully in another home.

With some skin issues pending, Cutha was fostered and loved by our Tammy Benson, whose own Gen and Beau were Cutha's mentors. After a few weeks, Cutha's health appeared to stabilize and made for a happy girl!

Having full knowledge that Cutha was an older OES with perhaps some skin allergy issues, Janet and Harry stepped in and felt that she would be a perfect fit for their home. Their family also includes a male OES with some hip problems that just couldn't tolerate a puppy's antics so after the necessary checks, an arrangement was made to meet Cutha's new family and make the switch. Happily, Janet, Harry and Cutha hit it off immediately.

Now we're happy to report that all is well with the family and both dogs....In Janet's own words, 'It's hard to believe Cutha has only been with us for one week. She has quickly adapted and is a real pleasure to have. She's extremely affectionate and we can't sit on our sofa without her quickly jumping into our laps!'

Thanks to Janet and Harry for giving Cutha a wonderful home along with their own Baron. We look forward to hearing more about their progress in the future!
